This is what I found inside the cardboard carton. It's a steel frame suitable for stacking.

All the parts including two cast iron table wings are packed within this frame.

After unpacking all the heavy parts, this was manageable by two.

After mounting the rails for the Biesmeyer fence, there is still a filler board to fit on the right.

The new saw is far more substantial than the old saw, weighing in at about 410 pounds.
