The pantry cabinet temporarily occupies the space vacated by the old refrigerator. Eventually, counter and cabinets will wrap around to the peninsula. The refrigerator is a scratch & dent special from the Sears outlet store. It's a 25 cu. ft. counter depth Kitchen Aid. The plan is to make new full overlay doors for the cabinets and paint the cabinets white. We'll have butcher block counters and some sort of tile backsplash. 7/21/09 - The counter has been cut out of the way so the drywall can be replaced. We now have a (semi) portable dishwasher. The problem is, it will certainly flip when the door is opened and the basket pulled out. A little insulation, a little drywall, a little mud and we're all set. All buttoned up. Ready for mud. This is the dry fit of the carcass for the corner cabinet. That's a mighty big pizza cardboard there. Checking to see if a 30 inch lazy susan will fit.
